Moved to Seattle in 1969 to attend University of Washington. M.A. Romance Languages. Got married 1971. Spent 2 1/2 years traveling all over Latin America and year in Australia. Got clean and sober (30 years in March 2012 - yeah!) Have worked in chemical dependency and mental health fields since 1985. Got divorced in 1995 after husband ran off with best friend on eve of our second honeymoon. Have been in a relationship for 18 years with someone who is not going to run off anywhere. Moved out to a rural area. Have lots of pets. Very happy. And that's my life in a nutshell.
