George Clark (1968)

Susan was an accomplished artist. One of my favorites, and I told her so.

I enjoyed browsing online galleries that displayed photos of Susan's paintings. I don't know whether Susan's galleries are still online. But, I do see that Susan duplicated much of her artwork at Facebook:

Susan's younger brother, Jon, was a cordial acquaintance, when we were in high school; and I visited their childhood home on Magnolia Lane, on occasion. Jon lives in Warrenton, now. I sent Jon a letter of condolensce.

Susan and I were able to reconnect, via several good email exchanges, in recent years. That was back, when she was still living in Maine.

I did not know Susan well. I was instead more of a "secret admirer" than a friend. But, I was well-acquainted with her younger brother, Jon, in that we had a mutual circle of friends, back in the Sixties.

It weighs heavily on my mind.
