Bill was one of my closest friends at Stuart, always optimistic and enjoying life. After graduation, he went to William and Mary and then returned to northern Virginia. We lost touch for several years but ran into each other by chance a few years before his death. I was glad that I had the chance to introduce him to my wife and share some laughs about high school.
