Barbara Dunford (Dunford) (1982)

It’s  iBeen a while since I’ve driven past Jeb Stuart.  I still live  in Falls Church Virginia  and my children go to the same schools as I did.  There’s just more drama now.  And yes in my mind the school will always be called Jeb Stuart and that’s the only way I’m ever going to know it.  It seems like just  yesterday we were  walking those JEB Stuart halls.   I never knew Charles. Just thought it would  be nice to say something because he has no one to coment for him.  I never knew Charles because I kept pretty much to myself I was in high school. For that I’m sorry. That is my one regret. It would have be nice to get to know people like Charles, Lisa, and Douglas— just some of the 1982 JEB Stuart alumni classmates.   I read some of your comments about the other alumni who passed away and they seem like awesome people and I Am  sorry that I didn’t get to know them.

Here’s to Charles and others like him who have gone on  to a better place. You may not grace us with your presence here on earth  anymore and I know you all and so many others were so loved and will be solely missed by your family, your friends and your children— those who are left here to carry on your memory while you’re up there singing with the angels.   I know that there is some angel up there in heaven who is rejoicing because they got to know you better.So rest in peace Charles Remember the memories of your youth while they still walk the halls of of JEB Stewart High School.   Live on Chatles, Lisa, Joy and Douglas and the rest of the JEBStuart alumni who grace the golden streets of heaven.
