I went to Stuart and two colleges with Ronnie. I always looked up to him... he was the brother I never had. Bright, witty, always willing to lend a hand, Ronnie brought quality to the lives of those he touched. When he decided he needed to face his demons and stop drinking he did so with aplomb. He remained sober for over 26 years and proved to all of us that he didn't need booze to have a good time. The last few years were not kind to Ron... a recent divorce blindsided him emotionally and nine months ago came the diagnosis of having dementia. Last month he fell and broke his hip which landed him in a convalescent home where he quietly passed a few days ago. I love you Ron and I miss you terribly.
