Perry passed away shortly after a game of golf in New Orleans at the height of his career as a Lawyer. All of us who were fortunate enough to cross his path will never forget his easy laugh, fun loving spirit, generous attitude, and keen insight. A great sportsman, he excelled at Skiing, Baseball and Crew. Loved New Orleans. Loved fishing, especially big game fish. Perry's cremated remains were laid to rest along the Great Barrier Reef in Australia in an emotional ceremony by an entourage of friends and family his estate paid to have escorted there. A gentleman and adventurer to the end!

I first met Perry in 7th grade at Glasgow. I learned he had gone to Sleepy Hollow in 6th grade and befriended one of my good freinds from there, John Banks. I had gone to Beech Tree in 6th grade. Me and my bestie from Beech Tree, John Shenk, came walking into class the first day of school and there was John Banks with some guy I hadn't met. It was Perry. The four of us became the clique of 7-12. Perry was a great guy to talk to. He was interesting and knew a lot of cool stuff. Our relationship was a little contentious for awhile but those things pass. The last time I saw him was around 1988 when a hoard of people who had gone to Stuart at around the same time converged on Joe Theisman's. Perry couldn't have been nicer and told Sarah Tees and I that if we ever got down to New Orleans we had a friend there. I thought it was intersting that both Perry and John Banks had become lawyers. May he rest in peace with his sister Dionne and mother Jeanne, whom I also knew and liked, as well as his dad, Bernard (Barney).
