I was a classmate of Chip's in 1963. We were both in a "special" English class & he was the class clown, always making everyone laugh and shake their head at his antics. He taught me how to appear to walk into a closed door looking back and using my knee to make contact with the door. It looked as if the side of my head hit the door, you can imagine what onlookers thought!! I think he also caused me to mistakenly walk into a girl's bathroom twice, by saying lets go in here to comb our hair!! I played in the Culmore Little League & Babe Ruth? League against Chip & Rick Pickerell(Sp) Chip was a hell'uva short stop & you couldn't even get a bat on Rick's pitches!!
