| From C. Linda Lennon Barnhart: My younger brother, Brian Lennon was found deceased in his apartment on May 5, 2026. where he had been residing since he returned from Moscow, Russia. His death is a shock to all who knew and loved him. Please, if you remember him, think of him fondly. He played sports and was active in many other activities. I believe he received a superlative award. Even if not, he was certainly an exceptional human being and larger than life. He will always be dearly missed. |

Robert Dalton (1973)
Brian was indeed voted Best All Around (along with Solange Coakley) in 1973, our senior year. He and I were not close, but we were friends and I always respected him both as a scholar and an athlete. I will never forget playing football against him at one of our casual weeked football games in those times -- this one on the JEB Stuart football field -- and I simply could not cover him He ate me alive Brian showed up at one of our later class reunions (our 30th, maybe?) when he was home from Moscow and we had a long and interesting talk about our careers. I always enjoyed talking to him.
I am very sorry to learn of his passing. My deepest sympathies to his family. He will be in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about the Brian's passing. He was a wonderful person. I believe we got to know each other at Glasgow Intermediate. I have very fond memories of him. He was kind, had a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor/personality. My condolances to his family and loved ones.

Thank you to those who have posted a comment about Brian. I cry when I read them, but your words have brought some joy back into my heart as well. I am the older sister, and he always was my baby brother, no matter how tall he grew or how old he got. Thank you so much./Linda

C. Linda Lennon Barnhart: I attended Bailey's Elementary School with Brian. I was in the group with him, that "skipped" 4th Grade. I didn't know Brian as a close friend; I was extremely quiet and shy. One Summer evening, when I was walking my huskies during a college break, I ran into Brian near Lake Barcroft. We talked a long time. I aked him about being chosen to ring the fire alarm in elementary school, and whether he had wanted to be a "fireman". I remember him laughing about that. I also recall asking him about skipping a grade. He told me he was fine with it. I wouldn't normally have shared this, but I told him how much it affected me negatively, and he was so kind. I wanted to share this with you, because it was a very healing moment; that moment with a very Kind Soul. Blessings to you and your entire family. Barbara (Wilson) Daire-Woodward
